Dormer loft

Church Close 9 weeks, one week early

Week 1: scaffold up at the back of a Victorian terrace and the roof stripped under a cover Week 3: the timber frame of the new dormer standing on the roof Week 6: the dormer clad in grey tiles with its windows in, scaffold still up Week 9: the finished dormer with the scaffold gone

Living at home
The family stayed in throughout. We came and went by the scaffold, so nobody walked through the house until the new stairs went in.
Their page
Nine weekly updates, and the last stage payment only after the walk round.
The finished loft bedroom with two roof windows and a dormer window seat
The finished loft room Week 9
